You are much more economical than I am. I made a pair last year using industry rubber sheeting, which cost about $6 by itself. I should have thought about local discount stores--dang! Nice innovations on the four-point strap.
@Viper I considered buying a rubber sheet from Mcmaster.com. They sell a 1'x2' sheet for abut $18: http://www.mcmaster.com/#rubber-sheets/=de5oab The Dollar General seemed like a more accessible source. I kinda like the flip flop source cause one, they are already in the shape of a foot and two, they are lighter than rubber.
